Since spirituality in many cases in the form of organized religion is a major condition in most people's life, researching and or analyzing a variety of religious values could help to recognize the lack of the ability in a person or group of people's ability to adapt or not adapt due to their spiritual upbringing and or focus. Being familiar with different thinking patterns of religious groups could also help with learning how to adapt to different social situations and the ethics in differences. The right to religious values is a personal choice. It can become an issue, however, when those values clash with a mate or group of people because of one's lack of clarity, or openness to accept or lack of ability to agree to disagree.
A remedy to this lack of communication is to be knowledgeable enough to see the similarities in belief systems. Learning more in depth why you or someone maybe adamant about religious values is a way to help build understanding, acceptance and adaptation to the psychological needs of others.
